South Bristol Town Clerk Town Clerk News from your Friendly Town Clerk!!! Welcome! My first mission for 2012 will be helping the South Bristol 175th Celebration Committee get the 2012 Photo Contest off and running. The committee has met a couple of times and has come up with some photo contest rules: 1. Photo contest will begin January 1, 2012 and continue to November 1, 2012. 2. All photos for contest must digital and in high resolution and be a .jpg file. EMAIL YOUR PHOTOS TO ME - jhanley@southbristol.org!! 3. All photos MUST BE TAKEN IN SOUTH BRISTOL. 4. Five (5) photos can be submitted, per person, per season. 5. The organizer and sponsor reserve the permanent nonexclusive right to publish, reproduce, display, distribute and show on screen any submitted photograph on websites, photo exhibitions, tradeshows or any other media which is under the management of the organizer and sonsor for the purpose of promoting the contest. In all cases where such photographs are used, the organizer reserves the right to do so without obtaining the further prior permission of the photographer and without offering any further compensation in any form. 6. Pictures submitted with people must be accompanied with a waiver from the people in the picture! The Celebration Committee decided on a Seasonal Theme for the pictures - Winter: will be from January 1, 2012 through March 31st. Spring: will be from April 1st through May 31st. Summer: is June 1st through August 31st and finally, Fall: will be from September 1st through November 1st. Photo submissions can be emailed to jhanley@southbristol.org - South Bristol was formed on March 8th, 1838. 2013 will be our 175th year as a Town and Celebration Committee will be putting together a number of events to honor the occasion! Keep checking back for updates - for there is certainly more to come!!! Now back to Town Clerk business: The Town will again be hosting a Rabies Clinic at the Highway Barns. Here is a list of the 2012 Rabies Clinics: Saturday, February 4th 9-12pm at the Ontario county Safety Building, 2914 County Road 48 in Canandaigua. Saturday, May 12th 9-12pm at the Gorham Town Barns, 3478 Lake to Lake Road. Saturday June 9th 9-12pm at the Geneva Hydrant Hose Co., 79 Geneva Street in Geneva. Saturday August 4th 9-12pm at the South Bristol Highway Barns, 6371 State Route 64. Saturday September 15th 9-12pm at the Hurley Building, 205 Saltonstall Street. Saturday October 13th at the Farmington Town Barns, Collett Road. The rabies clinic is for cats and dogs and ferrets. A donation of $5.00 is requested but not required. Leashes and carriers are necessary for everybody's safety. Hope to see you there! More Information
